After Urus, Rolls Royce And G-Wagen, Indian Tech CEO Venu Gopalakrishnan Buys BMW R1300 GSA Superbike

Venu Gopalakrishnan, the tech CEO from Kerala, has recently been creating headlines by rapidly expanding his multi-crore garage. The latest addition to it is a brand-new BMW R1300 GSA. A video of him taking the delivery with his family has now surfaced.
It shows the private event held at the Crown Plaza hotel in Kochi. The CEO is seen arriving in his newly-bought Mercedes Benz G63 AMG. It still has temporary registration plates. The family then walks into the hotel parking where the motorcycle can be seen parked and covered. Together with his family, the CEO unwraps it and receives the keys and hampers from the dealer staff. He then takes it for a spin.
The R1300 GSA is the fifth BMW Motorrad model in the Litmus7 CEO's garage. He has bought it in the fully specced form. The motorcycle looks intimidating with all the accessories on. It is indeed the first of its kind in Kerala.
The R1300 GSA went on sale in India, in January this year. It has a base price of Rs 22.95 lakh, ex-showroom. Accessories will cost extra. The all-new GSA is a kilo heavier than its predecessor. Needless to say, it is more brutal than the R1300 GS with a stronger focus on off-road abilities, and a larger fuel tank. The GS comes with an 18.9 L tank while the GSA's fuel tank can accommodate 30 liters! It is also 32 kilos heavier than the standard GS.
The R1300 GSA is powered by BMW's newly developed 1300cc Boxer engine which also does duty on the standard GS. It makes 145hp at 7,750rpm and 149Nm at 6,500rpm on the GSA.
BMW Motorrad has also given the motorcycle an Automated Shift Assistance- in simple words, an automatic clutch! The suspension gets an EVO Telelever and Paralever, which offer more control and stability.
The off-roader also gets features like cruise control and blind spot monitoring- backed by a radar, four riding modes- Rain, Road, Eco and Enduro, Dynamic Suspension Adjustment (DSA), a 6.5-inch full-colour TFT display, LED Matrix headlamp, keyless ride, heated grips, smartphone charger, and more.
There are four variants on offer- Standard, Triple Black, GS Trophy and Option 719 Karakorum. The radar-assist comes only on the 719. This CEO seems to have opted for the standard R1300 GSA, kitting it with a lot of accessories.
The CEO's previous purchase was the G63 which has an ex-showroom price of around 4.2 Crores. He has chosen a Satin Military Green as the preferred colour for his G. The alloys are finished in a shade of Gloss Black. The interior is finished in Black. He has also chosen the rear seat entertainment package as well. The vehicle is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 585 bhp and 850 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 9-speed DCT.
Before the G, Venu Gopalakrishnan had bought the first and most expensive Rolls Royce Ghost Series II Black Badge in India. With an estimated on-road price of 18 crores, this purchase had made headlnes as well. The car has a dual-tone colourway of Black Diamond and Gunmetal Grey. It has its coachline finished in a Copper colour. It is powered by a massive 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine that produces 592 bhp and 900 Nm.
He also owns a Lamborghini Urus Performante, for which he had bought a VIP number plate that reads 'KL 07 DG 0007', spending a whopping 46 lakh rupees! The SUV itself has an ex-showroom price of 4.22 crore.
